1967年滋賀県大津市に生れる/Born in Otsu city,Shiga prefecture,Japan
1989年金沢美術工芸大学彫刻科卒業/Kanazawa College of Art,Ishikawa prefecture,Japan,B.A.Sculpture
1998年カラーラ・アカデミア美術学院彫刻科卒業/Academy of Fine Art,Crrara,Italy,Sculpture
2004年帰国/He had come back to Japan

北川宏人は1990年にイタリアへの留学以降14年間の滞在活動の中で、まだ日本国内では研究されていないテラコッタ彫刻制作の技術を習得しました。その技術力をベースに世界的に見ても独自性の高い次世代の人物彫刻を制作し続けております。
